A durable and insulated outdoor cat shelter, hand-crafted from a medium size (48 Quart) Igloo cooler designed to keep your outdoor cat or neighborhood feral cats safe from cold and precipitation. This insulated shelter also works to keep cats cool in the summer months. Off the ground and in the shade is the best place for it during these warmer days. The exterior of shelter measures 25x12.06x12.12 inches and the interior 21x11x11” Crafted with two doors, one door is a top of the line, two way locking door by Pet Safe and one door left unobstructed(uncovered) and is lined with a black biodegradable plastic made from reusable resources. We don’t use PVC pipe as a component on our shelters, like many other companies. PVC can be potentially hazardous for the cats by leeching harmful Chemicals, while the kitty is using the shelter. Two doors give the cats the option for which exit or entrance they would like to use, as well as a quick escape route from unwanted predators is often preferred by feral cats that don’t like doors with a flap or cover. As the cats become accustomed to their new house, they may be more apt to use the unobstructed 6.5”’hole out of availability and convenience.
