A durable and insulated outdoor cat shelter, this hand--crafted, medium size
(48 Quart) Igloo Laguna cooler is designed to keep your outdoor cat or neighborhood feral cats safe from cold and precipitation. This insulated shelter also works to keep cats cool in the warmer months.
This shelter will accommodate one medium/large cat(approximately 10-12 lbs or two kittens.
The exterior of shelter measures 25x12.06x12.12 inches and the interior 21x11x11” Crafted with two doors, one with a top of the line, locking flap style pet door with a window flap and one door left unobstructed(uncovered), giving the cats the option for which exit or entrance they would like to use. This unobstructed door is known as an “escape” door or a quick exit from unwanted predators that may enter when the cats inside the shelter. It’s also a great option because many feral cats, simply don’t like doors with a flap or cover, so this helps ensure they use it, by having options!
As the cats become accustomed to their new house, they may be more apt to use the unobstructed 6.5”’hole out of availability and convenience. This black collar, which lines the unobstructed entrance is made of 100% biodegradable plastic from reusable resources. The doors are reinforced with weather stripping to minimize temperature loss at those vulnerable areas.
This shelter comes in white, navy, royal blue, red, lime, or a beautiful aqua marine
color! A 13” bale of straw, one can of cat food and an 8 oz. bowl are all included for FREE with every shelter purchase!! A 100% Polyester self-warming, non-absorbent, fleece mat is available as an add on for extra comfort and warmth. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
🐱Keep shelter elevated off the ground a few inches using wood pallets, milk crates, or bricks
🐱Add extra weight to the shelter lid for reinforcement against wind and elements
🐱Face the open entrance hole towards a stationary object such as a garage or house
🐱Place the shelter in a suitable location for optimal weather protection
🐱Use fleece mat for added warmth during colder months (not necessary in summer)
🐱Clean the shelter regularly with a damp cloth or sponge
🐱Use a mild soap if necessary, but avoid harsh chemicals
🐱Allow the shelter to dry completely before placing bedding inside
🐱Replace the straw bedding regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
🐱Store the shelter in a dry and covered area when not in use
🐱Check the shelter periodically for signs of wear and tear, and repair or replace as needed.
